 Objectives : |
1. To reduce the negative impact of such wastes on the environment and human health;
2. To develop new mechanisms for the promotion of management action of such wastes in accordance with the principles of « producer recovers » and « polluter pays »;
3. To strengthen private sector participation in the management of such waste (collection, transportation and conversion). |

 The collection of used batteries continued in schools and large public spaces in accordance with signed agreements in force. In this context, we carried the maintenance of metal containers reserved to used battery collection in view of attributing them to the sustainable schools associated with the activity; |
| Regarding the conversion of such wastes, the agency is currently considering exporting used batteries, pending the start of the single company licensed to recycle such waste. |
