Strengthening cooperation and partnership with international institutions to support technical and financial assistance,
Building stakeholders’ human capacity in the sector of waste management through training and participation in workshops and conferences,
Developing new areas of technical and financial partnership, with openings towards new horizons;
Promoting South-South cooperation by sharing country experiences in the region of Africa and the Middle East; |

Project of « Sustainable Management of Municipal Waste » combined with two projects to sell Certificates of Carbon Emission Reduction from ten landfills (the sale of 50% of CERs under the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol): Project cost 22 million dollars (IBRD loan)
African Program for Elimination of out-dated pesticides in Tunisia : Project cost 4 million dollars (GEF Grant) (with financing from AFD/ FFEM of 800 thousand €)
